Call for papers
The Spanish Association of Labour Economics (AEET) and Universidad de Castilla – La Mancha (UCLM) will hold the XV Labour Economics Meeting, on June 29-30 and July 1, 2022, at the Economics & Business School in Albacete.
In this edition the Econometrics course preceding the meeting will be presented by Raúl Ramos Lobo and Antonio di Paolo (Universidad de Barcelona). The topic of the course will be “Introduction to the synthetic control method”.
The Labour Economics Meeting will feature two keynote speeches: Prof. Seamus McGuinness (Economic and Social Research Institute, Dublin – will present his research on minimum income employment, statutory minimum wages and income distribution. Prof. Brendan Burchell (University of Cambridge) will speak about well-being and mental health implications of precarious employment. Finally, the organizing committee is scheduling a roundtable where social agents, senior members of Employment Ministry and academics will discuss about the 2022 labour market reform.
Interested authors may submit their extended abstracts on the Labour Economics meeting areas (please find them at the+ conference web) in either Spanish or English, via Conference Maker
Like in previous occasions PhD candidates will enjoy a reduced fee and there will be a new edition of Luis Toharia Grants for young researchers in labour economics. For more information, visit the following link.
There will be also a new edition of the Lluís Fina Prize. The rules and conditions for the Lluís Fina prize can be found following this link. The award ceremony will take place during the celebration of the meeting.
